Sapientiae Sedes Sunset Silhouette

I couldn't pass up the opportunity when it jumped out at me. The statue of Mary Sapientiae Sedes looked absolutely amazing in the sunset light. After taking a number of shots I chose this one because it made a kick ass silhouette. To enhance the effect (even though it wasn't terribly necessary) I mildly saturated the photo and altered the hue. This allowed me to capture the full effect of the silhouette and to make the sunset look crazy.
